This two-month celebration
(June 1-July 31) offers great books, fun prizes and exciting events for all ages, all for free.
How to Participate
Participation in this annual event is simple
for all ages. The youth program is divided into three age groups: birth through
pre-Kindergarten, children entering grades Kindergarten through 5th,
and young adults entering grades 6th - 12th. Summer fun isn’t just for the little ones! Adults aged 18 and up can keep track of their reading as well. Visit any MidPointe Library location to pick up a reading log or start
tracking your reading electronically with Wandoo Reader (see below). Participants keep track of their reading at
home, then can come into the Library to reward their accomplishments and pick
up their prizes! The Program concludes on July 31, and grand prize
winners for each age level will be awarded at every location shortly
Track Your Reading Electronically (Available June 1)
You can register to keep track of your Summer Reading online with a tool called Wandoo Reader. Click on an age range below to get started.
Prefer to use a traditional reading log to record this summer's accomplishments? No problem! We will have reading logs available at all MidPointe locations and the Bookmobile.
