Proctoring

Currently, MidPointe Library West Chester offers test proctoring at no charge to homeschooled students, secondary students, postsecondary students, and professionals taking licensing tests. Appointments do need to be made to schedule a testing time, and walk-in requests cannot be accommodated. Scheduling of proctor appointments are subject to availability. All exams must be completed prior to the Library’s closing. See branch hours for more information.

Students are responsible for:

    • Scheduling a testing time with the Library.
    • Verifying that the testing institution accepts the Library’s proctoring policies. See italicized text below.
    • Ensuring the Library has received all required testing materials.
    • Bringing your current photo I.D. and all supplies necessary to take your test (this includes sufficient postage and envelopes to return your completed test if necessary).
    • Notifying their school or professor in the event of connectivity issues during the exam.
    • Confirming that non-monitored proctoring is acceptable.
    • Confirming their exam has been received.
    • Confirming their appointment is scheduled before the testing date.

The Library can receive testing materials on your behalf but can not proctor tests you bring in yourself, grade tests, monitor tests or contact the testing institution on your behalf. Testing materials will be held by the Library for 30 days after the testing date unless otherwise directed by the testing institution.
