Virtual Programming - Week of April 20-26
The Library may be closed, but we are still bringing great programming to you at home! Links will be posted to Facebook Live events after the program is complete.

At Home Bingo with Your Library - The fun isn't only for kids - adults can play this bingo game and enter to win prizes!

Monday, April 20
9:00 AM - Virtual Storytime with Miss Mary
4:30 PM – LIVE Cookbook Challenge - We will be making a budget friendly recipe from a cookbook in our eLibrary. Share your recipe ideas in the chat!
6:00 PM - White Bean and Rosemary Hummus Tutorial 

Tuesday, April 21
10:00 AM – LIVE Cardio Dance
11:00 AM – LIVE Preschool Storytime - Under the Sea handout
1:00 PM – LIVE Tie-dyed Milk Experiment - Supply list: shallow dish or pie tin, milk (the higher the fat content the better so half and half or whole milk work best), food coloring (four colors make it more colorful but at least two), liquid dish soap (any variety), a toothpick or a small straw
6:30 PM – LIVE Bedtime Storytime 

Wednesday, April 22
9:30 AM – LIVE Baby Storytime
2:00 PM – LIVE Earth Day Recycled Pet Toy Craft - Supply lists: DIY Cat "Knotty Spider" (courtesy of Friskies), 1 plastic ring (off milk bottle, sports drink bottle, etc), 2 5x5 felt squares OR material (old cotton t-shirt, bandana, anything that won't fray when cut), scissors / DIY Dog Bottle Toy (courtesy of The Dog People, rover.com), scissors, water bottle (or 16 oz soda bottle rinsed out) with plastic ring removed, dry dog kibble or cat treats, old Sock OR old t-shirt for each toy
6:30 PM – LIVE Bedtime Storytime
7:30 PM – LIVE Storytime for Grown-UpsLibrary staff will read a poem, share a piece of music and then read a short story or essay out loud. You are encouraged to discuss the works in the chat!

Thursday, April 23
10:30 AM – LIVE Toddler Storytime
1:00 PM – LIVE Make Your Own Bouncy Ball Experiment - Supply list: Elmer's white glue, food coloring (optional but nice to have), Borax powder, cornstarch, warm water, plastic or styrofoam cups, sandwich bag or Easter egg for storage, popsicle stick or something easy for children to stir with
6:30 PM – LIVE Bedtime Storytime 

Friday, April 24
10:00 AM – Air Dry Clay Tutorial - Supply list: 3/4 cup cornstarch, 1/2 cup white glue, 1-1/2 tsp white vinegar, 1/2 tsp lotion, 1-1/2 tsp baby oil (or vegetable oil), food dye (optional)
2:00 PM – Interactive Breakout Program
7:00 PM - Harry Potter Kahoot! Trivia - We will be posting a code to play LIVE trivia on the Kahoot! app. Download the app early so you will be ready to play! This week's trivia will focus on "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."

Saturday, April 25
2:00 PM – LIVE Drawing with a Ballpoint Pen Art Break - Supply list: ballpoint pen (black or blue ink), pencil, eraser, copy paper
3:00 PM – LIVE Pre-School Parents - We will focus on a different topic each week that deals with a learning objective or developmental activity for your pre-schooler. We will also share helpful/humorous books about parenting and give you a chance to chat with other parents in the chat!

Sunday, April 26
2:00 PM – LIVE LEGO Zip Line Tutorial- Supply list: LEGOs, string or yarn, tape, stopwatch app (optional)
7:00 PM – Interactive Live Book Chat
