Plans for a new 20,000 square foot public library are in the works for Liberty Township. The MidPointe Library System has contracted with LWC Incorporated to begin design work on a new branch with a tentative opening date of summer 2024. MidPointe purchased the land for the new building, located at 6716 Yankee Road, at the end of 2021.
MidPointe opened their original Liberty Township branch in November 2018. The library, located on the second floor of The Foundry at Liberty Center, is 3,671 square feet and offers a collection of 5,000 items. Despite its limited size, the branch welcomes over 8,000 patrons and circulates over 13,000 items a month. The future MidPointe Library Liberty will offer outdoor programming space, reservable community meeting rooms, amenities for families, easily accessible parking, increased shelving for the collection and much more.

MidPointe provides eastern Butler County with the best in educational and entertaining library materials with locations in Middletown, Liberty Township, Monroe, Trenton and West Chester, as well as a bookmobile.
LWC Incorporated has achieved an impressive portfolio in public library design which began in 2012 as a member of master planning team for the Dayton Metro Library. The master plan served as the foundation for 17 new and renovated libraries within that system.
