New Library “Pop Up” Service Offered by MidPointe

There is a new way to access library books in eastern Butler County! MidPointe Library System will be debuting a “Lobby Stop Service,” bringing a pop-up library, materials to check out and staff to assist patrons inside multiple community spaces.

Initially, MidPointe will bring this service to short- and long-term care facilities and other health care destinations. Patients and their caregivers will have easy access to library materials, technology training, and information services.

The pop-up library includes multiple carts of library materials for browsing, a set of tablet computers for one-on-one or class instruction, a patron accessible printer and more.

This service is made possible by grant funding through the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The MidPointe Library System serves a population of nearly 200,000 people in the cities of Middletown, Trenton, and Monroe and the townships of West Chester, Liberty, Lemon, Madison, and Wayne with a collection of nearly half a million items. MidPointe provides eastern Butler County with the best in educational and entertaining library materials with locations in Middletown, Liberty Township, Monroe, Trenton and West Chester, as well as a bookmobile.
