Midpointe Library System Co-Organizer For Cincinnati Book Festival

The MidPointe Library System is proud to be part of this year's Books by the Banks: Cincinnati USA Book Festival to take place on Saturday, Oct. 20, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati. This free event features more than 100 national and regional authors and book illustrators.

Local authors and book illustrators with Butler County connections are among those participating in the book festival. They include illustrator Loren Long (Nightsong) from West Chester, OH and author Dionna Latimer-Hearn (Unexpected Places) who grew up in Middletown, Ohio, but now lives in Chicago.


Other authors featured include:New York Timesbest-selling author Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl), Anne Byrn (Unbelievably Gluten-Free),HGTV stars Robert & Cortney Novogratz (Home by Novogratz),Tad Hills (Rocket Writes a Story) and the children's book writing- illustrating team of husband and wife Brian and Andrea Davis Pinkney(Hand In Hand: Ten Black Men Who Changed America).

Books by the Banks Highlights: While browsing the large Author Pavilion, attendees can purchase books from more than 100 authors and have them signed by their favorite writers and illustrators. At the event, they can also take in a wide variety of engaging book talks and author panel discussions. Additionally, children and their families can enjoy storybook characters, music, and other fun activities in the Kids' Corner presented by The Carol Ann and Ralph V.
